Access Earls Court offer serviced apartments in an extremely convenient location in the Earls Court district of London. Earls Court is a fairly peaceful residential district, with a laid back, multicultural vibe and a few hidden gems, such as The Troubadour Cafe, where Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan played live in the 60s and Oliver Reed used to prop up the bar. Access apartments are also just a short walk from South Kensington, where you can see some of London's most renowned sights and attractions.
The apartments are housed in one of the exquisite 19th century buildings in the area, and whilst they may evoke London's past on the outside, indoors they reflect London's modern cosmopolitan nature, with chic modern fittings, hard wood floors and funky colourful furnishings. The apartments are 2 bed and sleep up to 5 or 6 people (depending on how cosy you don't mind getting!). All apartments come complete with a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, a colour TV and DVD player, an incoming telephone line, wireless internet for a surcharge, a combination safe, a weekly cleaning service and 24-hour maintenance. Everything you will need during your stay, and if you don't fancy paying for the Internet, there is a Starbucks Cafe nearby, which offers a free Wi-Fi connection and some tasty breakfast options. There is a Sainsbury’s supermarket and an M&S Simply Food store nearby if you need to pick up groceries, but the surrounding area has a good choice of restaurants, with prices to suit all budgets. From reliable chains such as Wagamamas and Zizzis, to exotic Iranian fare at Mohsens, tasty juices and snacks at Crussh and hearty gastropub fare at The Pembroke.
The apartments are in a fantastic location for viewing the many sights and attractions nearby. Earls Court exhibition centre is just a few minutes walk away, and Olympia exhibition centre is just one tube stop away, where you can visit concerts, exhibitions and trade shows such as The London International Horse Show, The Royal Tournament and Crufts Dog Show. The apartments are ideal for anyone visiting a show or exhibiting here. To the east of the complex, about 15 minutes walk away; you will find the affluent, attractive South Kensington and Knightsbridge districts. These areas are very popular with tourists for their grand Victorian architecture and exclusive stores such as Harrods and Harvey Nichols. Here you will find some of London's best museums, the Victoria & Albert, The Natural History and the Science museum, all close to Exhibition Road, where the Imperial College London campus is also based. The Royal Albert Hall has a full programme of concerts throughout the year and up and coming musicians play live in the cafe; and Hyde Park provides the opportunity to escape the crowds and enjoy the pleasant green space, filled with outdoor activities and historic sights such as Rotten Row and Speakers' Corner.
Transport links from the apartments are also good; with Earls Court tube station just a few minutes walk away, from which you can travel on the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines. The District line will take you to Paddington Station for the Heathrow Express train, or you can access Heathrow directly via the Piccadilly line. You also have a direct link to King's Cross St Pancras Station where the Eurostar terminus is located and Victoria Station, where you can catch the Gatwick Express Train.
Access Apartments' fantastic location and fairy reasonable price make them a good accommodation option, but some guests have found that sleeping a family in the unit was a bit of a stretch, so these may be more suitable for smaller groups of people. Some have also had a few problems with missing amenities so be sure to check you have everything you will need and take up any problems with the reception staff.
