This privately-run 3-Star hotel is in a lovely Victorian building and has recently been completely refurbished. It has the friendly atmosphere of a small hotel and offers services and quality one would normally expect of an upmarket establishment. Being close to Heathrow Airport, it is an excellent choice for those wanting to stay in a classic hotel with reasonable prices before flying out on holiday.
There are a variety of guest rooms to suite different tastes, budgets and requirements. Most of the rooms are en-suite, while the two basic bedrooms share a large bathroom with a bath and a shower. Room types include singles, doubles, twin rooms, triple rooms, family rooms and a deluxe room with a four-poster bed that would be wonderful for a honeymoon or romantic night away.

The breakfast menu also includes fruit juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, brown or white toast and coffee or tea. During the day the hotel also offers a selection of snacks and sandwiches and a small Table D'Hote menu. Packed lunches can also be prepared on request.

These include Hounslow Heath, Hanworth Park and Bedfont Lakes Country Park. Chessington, Thorpe Park and Legoland theme parks are all within striking distance and Kew Gardens is easy to get to by car or public transport.
The Ambassador Heathrow Hotel is on the outskirts of the village of Feltham, which is a couple of miles from Heathrow Airport. Feltham itself has a 10-pin bowling alley and a multi-screen cinema as well as local shops, places to eat and traditional pubs.
The nearest mainline railway station is Feltham, with train service to Waterloo in Central London as well as to Windsor and Eton Riverside and Reading. It is in Travelcard Zone 6. Hatton Cross tube station is the nearest Underground station. It is on the Heathrow branch of the Piccadilly line, which has a direct Underground service between Heathrow Airport and Central London. Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 is a short drive from the hotel and has both Express mainline trains to Central London and is on the Underground. Bus routes 90, 285, 490, H26 and H25 run through Feltham. For drivers, the A4 Great Western Road and the M25 motorway are within easy reach. There is free parking at the hotel.
