The hotel is located in the heart of the Bloomsbury district, home to some of Britain's most famous authors, including Virginia Woolf (who was part of the distinguished Bloomsbury Group), Charles Kingsley and E.M. Forster. Alongside its weighty literary heritage, the area is a perfect hub from which to see London sights.
The British Museum is full of fascinating anthropological finds just a few minutes' walk away as well as the Wellcome Collection, with curious medical oddities just down the road. Covent Garden's independent boutiques, range of theatres, restaurants and buzzing nightlife are all just ten minutes' away including the Royal Opera House, historic Drury Lane and the London Transport Museum.

If you are driving to the hotel, it is situated just off the main A4 road, which can be accessed via the M4 and M25; however, guests should note that the hotel is in the congestion charge zone. A car park is situated down the road and offers a discount if you are staying at the hotel.
The Beauchamp's location is fantastic and places you truly in the heart of the city, however there are hotels nearby with more character as The Beauchamp seems better suited to business tourists, although the hotel is family friendly and provides cots and connecting rooms if needed. It is recommended to request a room on one of the upper floors where views of the gardens and city are better and less traffic noise can be heard, and if you don't want to pay extra for breakfast, there is a Prêt A Manger cafe a few minutes' walk away.
