Situated in the borough of Brent, this shopping centre is one of the most popular centres for a spot of retail therapy in North London.

Brent Cross shopping centreFirst opened back in 1976, Brent Cross Shopping Centre has undergone somewhat of a transformation since its inception. You will have the opportunity to scour hundreds of shops which feature major high street retail chains as well as individual boutique stores and supermarkets.

Major retailers inside this particular venue include John Lewis, Fenwicks, Marks and Spencer not to mention Sony, Zara and many more. There are more than a stonking 2,000 iconic brand names to choose from among the 100 plus individual stores.

These include Abercrombie and Fitch, Aldo, Gap, Hawes and Curtis, Hollister, The White Company, River Island as well as Banana Republic. Restaurants feature Yo Sushi, Carluccios and Gourmet Burger Kitchen to name but a few.

The centre is set to be revamped yet again thanks to a huge overhaul that will see a brand new town centre open up into a development which is set to take place in 2014.

When it comes to transport links, Brent Cross can be accessed by more than a dozen bus routes as well as the nearest tube stations. These are Brent Cross and Hendon Central which both lie in Zone 3 of the underground system and are served by the Northern lines.

The closest rail station to this particular shopping centre is Hendon which can be found on the Thameslink service. It should take no more than 15 minutes to reach your final destination. Opening times are from Monday to Friday between 10am and 8pm, Saturdays between 9am and 8pm and Sundays from 12pm until 6pm.
