The Cadogan Arms has an eclectic interior with stuffed animals adorning the walls and plenty of timber oak to go round. The fire place has been beautifully restored whilst the wearing timber floorboards provide a real rustic and authentic feel.
There is an excellent range of cocktails with Old and New World wines in abundance for you to lock lips over. The focus is mainly on seasonal British produce with sourcing taken from several farms across the UK. The Sunday roasts are certainly the jewel in the crown and are in line with the quintessentially British venue.
Dishes that wow a hungry audience include scallops with black pudding and apple purée, tagliatelle with wild mushrooms, tarragon and chestnuts or Beetroot cured Scottish salmon, herb salad, mustard and dill dressing. Other highlights that will have you salivating feature Sautéed Isle of Man queen scallops, smoked bacon, broad beans, wild garlic butter, Spring pea, mint and shallot risotto with shaved parmesan or Dorset crab linguine which is served with chilli, tarragon, lemon and chilli oil.
If you still want more then chew the fat over the delicious desserts such as Lemon posset with shortbread, a chocolate delice with walnut cream or an apple and sultana crumble with custard.
The closest tube station from the Cadogan Arms is South Kensington. This lies in Zone 1 of the Underground system. It is served by the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines. It is less than a 20 minute walk from the venue. The nearest rail station is West Brompton.
