This 4-Star, family-run bed and breakfast is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and has off road parking but is a 10-minute walk from the lively centre of the historic market town of Dunstable. It is also just an 18-minute drive from Luton Airport.
Cherish End Bed and Breakfast is a small guest house with just five comfortable and relaxing bedrooms. These include doubles with super king-size beds as well as twin rooms and single rooms. All the guest rooms are en-suite, with spotless white showers, washbasins and WCs. The decor in the guest rooms is mainly restful creams and whites and all the rooms are pleasantly furnished with comfortable beds and soft duvets. Amenities include tea and coffee making facilities, TV with full Sky packages, heating, wireless internet connection and hairdryer. Irons and ironing boards are available on request.

The bed and breakfast also has a lovely garden and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi internet access. Guests have their own private entrance hallway, a lounge/dining room and a staircase to the first floor. Downstairs rooms are available. Children are welcome at the guest house and babies under two stay free of charge when using existing beds or cots. Dogs are allowed on request.
A large and delicious breakfast is served every morning in the bright and airy dining room that overlooks the garden. This is included in the room rate. Carmel and Graham, who run the bed and breakfast, also run a catering business, creating superb buffets, lunches and party food. They are excellent cooks. During the day, guests can relax on loungers in the garden with a tea or coffee if they desire.
The guest house owners are very helpful and friendly. They are happy to offer advice and suggestions about things to do in the area and places worth visiting. They can also discuss travel arrangements, including details buses that stop nearby.

Dunstable, where the bed and breakfast is situated, is a town rich in history. It was originally established by the Romans, then re-founded in the 12th Century by King Henry I as a market town. It still has a lovely open market as well as modern shopping centres. Historic landmarks include the reconstructed clock tower in the market area, the Priory Church of St Peter and Priory House. Leisure facilities include 10-pin bowling, several golf clubs, a fitness centre, a swimming pool and children’s playgrounds. The town’s two theatres are the Grove Theatre and the Little Theatre. There are plenty of pubs, fast food outlets and restaurants. The Quadrant Shopping Centre is a popular mall-type shopping arcade.
Further afield are the beautiful Chiltern Hills which are beautiful to explore on foot or in a car. Dunstable Downs Golf Club has beautiful views of the countryside and is very popular with golfers. Whipsnade Zoo makes a great family day out. The guest house is also just 10 minutes drive from Luton, which is a major town with large shops and is also the home of Luton Town Football Club.
For drivers, the hotel is close to junction 11 of the M1 motorway and is very easy to find by road. It has off-road parking. Luton airport is an 18-minute drive from the hotel, making this a convenient place to stay before or after a flight. The airport has a car park. Luton railway station is a 15-minute drive away, and routes to Central London, with trains leaving for London St Pancras every 10 minutes.
