The Connaught house hotel is located in the East End of Greater London. The hotel is a small, historic; Grade II listed red brick building built in the Victorian era. Comprised of 11 en-suite bedrooms which underwent extensive reservation in 2012, the hotel boasts wonderful views of the City of London. Connaught House hotel is also home to an a la carte restaurant and gastrobar, the Fox@Connaught House and Bar. The restaurant offers a tasty traditional British menu for lunch and dinners, and is open for breakfast for guests and customers alike from 6am. The bar was originally built in 1881, known as the Connaught Tavern, serving the passengers who disembarked from the nearby Victoria docks, and later for the dock’s labourers who would wait there before being assigned their daily work.

Two mainline train stations serve the hotel, located near the aforementioned ExCel London. Custom House, and Prince Regent station, which are both served by the Docklands Light railway, an over ground line with good connections to Central London.
