This little hotel has received many positive reviews for its great service, lovely rooms and wonderful location. It is within 100 metres of King’s Cross station and on the doorstep of a whole host of London’s most exciting attractions. A fantastic place to stay if your aiming to stretch your budget as far as possible and don’t want to compromise on location, service and accommodation. Just a short walk from the hotel is the British Museum, Oxford Street, Leicester Square and other famous spots like the National Gallery, Trafalgar Square and Soho. Also, the cool and quirky Camden with its boutiques, bars and clubs is only five minutes way by underground. With so many great places to spend your days and nights, it’s essential to find a hotel that doesn’t dent the wallet too much!

The Crestfield Hotel has 52 rooms, where guests can choose from shared or en suite facilities. Each room has a colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. The interiors have been decorated to match the needs of the modern traveler and are bright, airy and thoroughly relaxing. The hotel staff are always at hand to help out in any way at all, as their establishment’s prompt and super-friendly service is another thing that has recently put this hotel on the map. Rooms are available in single, double, triple and quadruple, so there’s something for everyone, from lone travelers to families and big groups.

The hotel also has a gorgeous garden in which guests can relax and wind down after a hectic afternoon in the city, or drink coffee in the sunshine and prepare for a long day out. The staff also run a very good tourist information kiosk, as London can be a little overwhelming to the first-time visitor. Staff man the hotel’s reception 24 hours a day and are only to happy to suggest itineraries, attractions, bars, clubs and restaurants.

The hotel serves a continental buffet breakfast each morning of fruit, cereals, toast, tea, coffee and juices, and you are most welcome to eat as much as you like! There is no restaurant in the hotel, but a short walk from its door are a stunning array of eateries from a la carte to fusion, traditional, European and Pan-Asian. If it’s good food you’re looking for, you couldn’t be in a better place. Also, Islington is just a five-minute train ride away, giving you even more dining choices. You could live in this area for decades and never eat in the same place twice. One restaurant that the hotel highly recommends is the local Balfour Italian restaurant, famed for its mouth-watering dishes which are hand prepared using freshly sourced ingredients and cooked to order.

Impressively, the hotel also boasts a fully licensed bar which stays open to guests 24 hours a day. This is great place for young people to come and meet other travelers and head out into town, or as a place to finish the night off when all the bars begin to close. Again, the staff are very helpful and clued-up about where to go to enjoy yourself, as the local area has a thriving nightlife.

For your convenience, the hotel is located extremely close to King’s Cross St Pancras station, which is served by all major airport rail services from Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stanstead and London City. From King’s Cross station, guests will also discover that so many popular areas of the city are just a short train-hop away. The station has five connecting underground routes that run the length of the entire city and is a great way to begin your adventures on the London underground. Similarly, the station serves all of the main hub stations across London such as London Bridge, Waterloo and Euston. The adjoining St Pancras is also the Eurostar’s final destination, making travel to and from your home city by rail easier than ever. Come to the Crestfield Hotel if you’re looking for a great introduction to the city, a place to meet new friends and a spacious room that doesn’t cost the earth.
