Hilton London Euston

The Hilton Hotel Euston is located in London's literary Bloomsbury district, where famed British novelists Virginia Woolf, E.M Forster and Charles Kingsley have all resided, lending the area an air of genteel elegance. Many of London's attractions can be reached on foot, so this is a great hub to explore from. The hotel is very grand with a large Georgian facade, situated amongst the imposing buildings of Euston Road, and it lives up to this air of grandeur inside, but with a laid back, friendly vibe so you will feel relaxed and welcomed during your stay.

Bedrooms are available as Guest or Deluxe and are decorated in a calm, elegant contemporary style, with a muted colour palette and stylish marble bathrooms to ensure a relaxing ambience In-room amenities include magazines and a daily newspaper, complimentary toiletries, electronic locks for extra security, ironing facilities, a mini-fridge, LCD TV with on-demand movies and cable, internet access (at an extra charge) and a direct dial phone.

The hotel encompasses two restaurants to offer guests a choice of fine dining, The Woburn Dining Room for chic, contemporary cuisine in elegant surroundings, or Mulberry's Restaurant for a laid back dining in a more casual environment. Or if you just want to relax with a drink, you can sink into one of the velvet couches in the bright, spacious bar and lounge, which has late opening hours for a nightcap when you return from a night out.

Hotel facilities include a concierge service to help you choose the best sights to see whilst you are staying in London, a laundry, valet, multi-lingual staff for international visitors, a state of the art fitness centre and health club, business facilities and a luggage store service if you wish to view the city unimpeded. The hotel is also family friendly and offers a special, children's menu and cots in rooms if needed.

Situated in the heart of Euston, the hotel is within walking distance of some of London's best attractions. The Wellcome Collection, just a few minutes' walk away, with its selection of grim and intriguing medical curiosities is a fascinating place to visit; and if you want to indulge your morbid curiosity further, the Crypt Gallery at St Pancras Church has a programme of art exhibitions in an 18th century subterranean crypt. The British Museum is within ten minutes' walk of the hotel, with a stunning range of artifacts from around the globe, or if you would prefer to spend the day outside, Regent's Park, which contains London Zoo is also a short walk away and offers a great family day out. If shopping is your modus operandi, you can visit the independent boutiques and vintage market in nearby Angel, or take a pleasant 15 minute stroll down to Oxford Street, which contains over 300 shops, including Selfridges department store and leads off to Covent Garden, Regent Street and Bond Street, which also contain many more shops, restaurants, theatres and bars.

The hotel is very well located for transport; with Euston tube station just a few minutes' walk away. This station services the Northern and Victoria lines, which offer you direct links to Victoria Station (where the Gatwick Express Train terminates); King's Cross St Pancras Station (where the Eurostar terminates); and many other exciting central London locations.  If you are driving to the hotel, it is situated just off the main A4 road, which can be accessed via the M4 and M25; however, guests should note that the hotel is in the congestion charge zone.

Guests staying at the hotel should note that Euston Road can be very noisy, so a room on the upper floors near the back of the hotel may provide you with a quieter night's sleep. If you don't want to pay high prices for a Wi-fi connection and breakfast, you should take advantage of the area's local cafes, with a Starbucks and Prêt A Manger just a few minutes down the road.
