In a listed Victorian building on pleasant Sussex Gardens, Kingsway Park Hotel is within walking distance of several tourist attractions, including Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. These are lovely green places to explore. You can stroll around the Serpentine and visit the art gallery on its shore, see the statue of Peter Pan and the memorial to Princess Diana, then wander over to Kensington Palace or take a longer walk through Green Park to Buckingham Palace (two miles from the hotel) to watch the Changing of the Guards. If you feel very energetic you could go horse riding from Hyde Park Stables or join the park’s running club. Marble Arch, which once marked the gates of Buckingham Palace, is 0.7 miles away by Speakers’ Corner. Whiteleys Shopping Centre is a mile west, while Oxford Street and the department stores of the West End are just over half a mile to the east. The Alexander Fleming Museum is 0.2 miles north of the hotel, just behind Imperial College London, St Mary’s Campus. Close to that lies the Paddington Basin canal-side development and you can walk along the towpath to Little Venice, which has an art gallery and waterside cafes and pubs. There are also cafes, restaurants and pubs near the hotel.

Also close to the hotel are the two tubes stations at Edgware Road (0.4 miles away), which serve the District, Circle, Hammersmith & City Lines and Bakerloo lines. Lancaster Gate station, on the Central Line, is also 0.4 miles away. These stations are in Travelcard Zone 1. The airports at Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and London City are all less than 45 minutes from Central London tube stations by train. The Eurostar arrives at St Pancras International station, where you can connect with the Circle Line. Several buses stop near the hotel with routes to London’s stations and famous landmarks.
