The Mandeville Hotel offers patrons a world of sophisticated fantasy during their London stay. Lauded highly by Conde Nast, Vogue, Tatler, Elle, The Guardian and a host of other worthy publications, the hotel is a heady luxurious experience from the moment you enter the colourful lobby, filled with vintage toy cars, quirky chandeliers and stylish armoires. Located just minutes from Bond Street station in the heart of central London, you wouldn't expect anything less of accommodation in such an exclusive area and the range of designer shops, Michelin starred restaurants and iconic sights all minutes from the doorstep make it even more desirable.

The Mandeville's rooms are offered in Single Double and Twin sizes, with a range of Deluxe and Suite rooms, for a truly elite stay. All rooms are elegantly appointed and decorated in a mix of traditional materials and styles with a contemporary design and sensibility to ensure a refined atmosphere. Furnishings are designed and coordinated by Julian Chichester and in-room amenities include an LCD TV, Broadband Internet connection, direct-dial telephone, bathrobes, a hostess tray, work desk, modern en-suite bathroom and more. Staff are extremely courteous and welcoming and the hotel also offers a concierge service, laundry, valet and a 24-hour reception desk, to ensure customer needs are tended to throughout the day.

The hotel also comprises of a chic restaurant, The Reform Social & Grill, where diners can enjoy high-quality international cuisine in sultry surroundings, and a bar with a buzzy atmosphere, which attracts a young trendy crowd, where guests can enjoy an extensive range of cocktails. For an extra charge, guests can enjoy a delectable breakfast buffet, which has a wide choice of continental and cooked treats.

The hotel is in a superb location, close to many major sights and attractions. Oxford Street, London's main shopping thoroughfare, is just a few minutes walk away, where you can browse in over 300 shops along a mile and a half stretch, including Selfridges Department Store. Bond Street and Regents Street also offer some very high-end boutiques for those who want to splurge a little. A fifteen minute walk north, along Marylebone High Street, brings you to Regent's Park, where you can enjoy golf, boating, picnicking in lush green spaces and meet the exotic residents of London Zoo. The Wallace Collection, which features an impressive array of artworks, from Dutch masters such as Vermeer and Steen to French, 18th century porcelain. Wigmore Hall, The Screen on Baker Street and London Palladium also offer a range of concerts, comedy and art house cinema, allowing you to immerse yourself in London's cultural scene.

If you are travelling with children, you can keep them amused in Madame Tussaud's wax museum, The Sherlock Holmes Museum and Hamleys toy store, which are all within 10 minutes walking distance. Hyde Park is also close by, as is Buckingham Palace, London residence of the Queen, where you can tour the staterooms or watch the daily Changing of the Guard ceremony. Afterwards you can pop in to Fortnum and Mason for some delectable treats.  London's Theatreland district is close by in Piccadilly and the museums of South Kensington and Harrods are easily accessed by tube.

The hotel has excellent transport links; with Bond Street tube station just a five-minute walk away. Bond Street services the Jubilee and Central lines, which will take you directly to Waterloo Station for overground services throughout the UK and many other parts of this fascinating city.

The Mandeville is a great hotel for a romantic break away or a special London weekend, where you will be made to feel like a VIP amongst sumptuous and artistically influenced surroundings. For the best stay here, it is worth upgrading if you can afford it, and it is worth booking a double room for single occupancy if travelling alone, as you will get more space and will feel more pampered. Rooms all have double-glazing, but some guests have complained of traffic noise, so an interior room is the best choice if you are a light sleeper.
