Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square occupies a prime position on Grosvenor Square, just behind Park Lane, nestled amongst some of the cities most exclusive hotels and 2 minutes walk from the picturesque green space of Hyde Park. Staff at the Marriott are extremely welcoming and friendly from the front desk, to the concierge, to the bar staff, they are al happy to make your stay memorable. If needed, extra facilities are offered at the hotel, including babysitting, laundry, a shoeshine and currency exchange, so you don't even have to leave the hotel to find what you need. The hotel includes a fitness centre with cardiovascular equipment and free weights and two restaurants, Maze, which serves a tantalizing mix of French and Asian fusion cuisine; and Maze Grill, which is inspired by New York steak houses, offering a satisfying selection of meat and fish dishes. A breakfast buffet is also offered, although at an extra price, so it is recommended to look for cheaper options in the many cafes and restaurants nearby.

The Marriott's location is excellent, located near to London's most iconic sights and most vibrant districts. Oxford Street, London's main shopping thoroughfare, is just a five-minute walk away past the elegant white Marble Arch monument and the site where the Tyburn Gallows previously stood. Mayfair and Piccadilly lay to the East of the hotel, with exquisite shops such as the tailors of Savile Row and Fortnum and Mason, and plenty of theatres and museums, including the Piccadilly Theatre, The Trocadero and Ripley's Believe It Or Not. Buckingham Palace is a 10-minute walk south of the hotel, where you can watch the Changing of the Guards ceremony and tour the staterooms during open season. From Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, 10 Downing Street and Westminster Cathedral are al accessible on foot. As if that isn't enough to see and do, the Victoria & Albert, Science and Natural History museums; the Royal Albert Hall; Harrods department store and the shops of the King's Road are all a 15-minute walk to the west of the hotel.
The hotel also has very good transport links, with Hyde Park Corner tube station a 10-minute walk away. From here you can catch the Piccadilly line to King's Cross St Pancras Station, where the Eurostar terminal is situated, or you can travel direct to Heathrow Airport in just 20 minutes, making this an ideal location for international visitors.
The Marriott Grosvenor Square is one of the city's pricier hotels, but high prices are more than justified by excellent service, stylish surroundings and one of the most fortuitous locations in the city. This is a hotel where people come to be seen, so packing some fancy clothes is recommended and all rooms in the hotel are quiet, but those facing the square enjoy stunning views and tend to be more peaceful.
