The O2 Arena on the Greenwich Peninsula – designated as the North Greenwich Arena for the 2012 Olympics – is a short tube journey away on the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich station. Other Olympic venues including the Olympic Stadium and the Aquatic Centre in East London are also easy to get to.
Westfield Stratford City, one of Europe’s largest indoor shopping destinations, is also within reach. There are shops, restaurants and entertainment venues right by the hotel and London’s West End is a short hop on the Jubilee Line. For sightseeing, you can catch a river bus for a tour up the Thames to view famous London landmarks from the water.
