This luxury 4-star hotel in the Essex countryside is a fine Tudor manor house that combines historic charm with first class service. In winter the lounge has a roaring log fire while in the summer guests can enjoy the beautiful courtyard garden.
There are a wide variety of rooms and suites. The 30 Courtyard Garden Rooms face a peaceful secluded garden. The original Tudor Bedrooms are luxuriously furnished with four-poster or antique carved beds. Brampton Lodge has seven luxurious bedrooms and three suites individually designed in country house style. The Jane Seymour room has a period four poster bed and bathroom with spa bath. The Anne of Cleves room features a carved antique bed and spa bath.
Brampton Lodge, annexed to the hotel, has executive rooms with plenty of workspace ideal for discerning business travellers. The modern suites have a separate lounge area, Jacuzzi bath, Wi-Fi, complimentary fresh fruit and mineral water, an enhanced selection of toiletries, bathrobes and slippers and individual heating controls.
