A Victorian Grade II listed building in a smart tree-lined street, Omega Hotel is a short walk from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens (0.4 miles away). This large and spacious park contains the Serpentine lake, the Serpentine Gallery, the statue of Peter Pan and the Princess Diana memorial. You can walk across it to Kensington Palace and The Royal Albert Hall. Marble Arch is 0.8 miles away, at the start of Oxford Street. Just north of the hotel is the Imperial College London St Mary’s Campus and the Alexander Fleming Museum. A little further on you can reach the canal and walk along the towpath to Little Venice, at the junction of the Grand Union and Regents Canal, where you can get boat tours or enjoy the waterside cafes and pubs. Whiteleys Shopping Centre with seven cinema screens, a bowling alley and shops, is a mile from the hotel.
To go further afield, you can get on London’s sightseeing Big Bus tours at a stop close to the Westpoint Hotel. You can also catch one of London’s traditional red buses or a tube train to get into the West End for theatres and shopping or visit famous attractions including the British Museum, St Paul’s Cathedral and Madame Tussauds.

Paddington is 0.2 miles from Omega Hotel and is on the District, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Bakerloo Underground Lines. Paddington is also a major mainline London railway station, with fast and frequent trains from Heathrow Airport as well as trains from the west of England and Wales. Lancaster Gate Station (0.4 miles from the hotel) is on the Central Line, which goes through London’s West End, the City and on to East London. Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City airports are all within 45 minutes of Central London by train. The Eurostar stops at St Pancras International, from where you can catch the Circle Line. Stations in the area are in Travelcard Zone 1. Several buses stop close to the hotel, with routes to major London tourist attractions and mainline stations. For drivers, the area is outside the London Congestion Charge Zone.
