The largest green space in London, Hyde Park, is just a ten-minute stroll away, where you can visit The Serpentine Gallery, where famed and controversial British artist Damien Hirst had has seminal show. In fair weather you can play tennis, trot through the park on a steed from Hyde Park Stables, ride the solar-powered shuttle boat across The Serpentine Lake, or simply enjoy a picnic. On the other side of the park lies Kensington Palace and Gardens, which was home to the late Princess Diana. A memorial to her is located in the gardens and you can tour the baroque interiors of the palace, or enjoy afternoon tea in the genteel Orangery Restaurant. If you are travelling with your family, they will be thrilled at the range of activities nearby. You can tale in a show on the Puppet Barge, visit the waxworks at Madame Tussaud's, gaze at the stars in The Planetarium, say hello to some of London's most exotic residents at London Zoo or follow in the footsteps of the world's most famous fictional detective at The Sherlock Holmes Museum. Adults will also be entertained with Oxford Street shops and Whiteley's shopping complex just a fifteen-minute walk away.

 

The hotel is easily accessible from Paddington Station where the London Heathrow Express arrives every 15 minutes. You can also access Victoria Station for the Gatwick Express Train and King's Cross St Pancras for the Eurostar Terminal. Queensway and Bayswater Underground stations are also both a five-minute walk away. If you are driving to the hotel, it can be accessed from the main A4 road, via the M4 and M25; however, guests should note that the hotel is in the congestion charge zone. A reasonable car park choice is the NCP just a few minutes walk away in Queensway. 

 

Paddington Court may not have the unique charm of some boutique hotels in the surrounding area, but its stunning location, enthusiastic team of young staff and comfy fittings mean it shouldn't be disregarded, especially as it offers very reasonable rates.
