Imperial College London, founded in 1907, is the UK's leading science, technology and medicine university. With locations in and around London, its main campus is in South Kensington, London's cultural heartland. Prince's Gardens Residences offers single and twin en-suite bedrooms in a location many of London's finest hotels could envy. You could choose a room with delightful views over leafy Prince's Gardens, the only privately-owned London square open to the public.

Prince's Gardens campus offers 800 contemporary bedrooms, in which travellers can enjoy modern, clean and tidy facilities with good amenities - including a kettle for tea or coffee - at cheap rates. Comfortable double rooms, twin rooms and single rooms are available in 20th century buildings, with breakfast included in the price. Linen on the beds and towels are supplied. Facilities available at the campus include charged internet access, luggage storage, 24-hour security, coin-operated laundry room, iron and ironing board, lifts, disabled access rooms, telephones and central heating. Reception is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Sports and fitness amenities available for guests to use include the Ethos Sports Centre. Arranged over four floors, this superb centre has the following facilities: 25m swimming pool with sauna, steam room and spa, fitness gym, exercise studio for classes, sports hall for badminton, table tennis, basketball and five-a-side football, climbing wall, three squash courts, treatments. There are also squash courts.

For food and drink, Princes Gardens has a restaurant. A choice of continental or English breakfast is included in the room rate. It is served in the Senior Common Room in Sherfield Building, just a short walk from the accommodation, between 7am and 10 am on weekdays and 7.30am to 10am on weekends.

The campus has several places to eat and drink throughout the day, whether you want a snack, a lunch or a dinner. Eastside Bar and Restaurant serves a delicious range of gastro-pub style dishes for lunch or dinner, as well as a superb range of ales and wines, teas and coffees. Located on the ground floor of the Eastside Halls of Residence, this venue is on the doorstep of any guest staying in Prince's Gardens. It is open from noon until late evening. As well as Eastside, Ethos cafe is located on the ground floor of Ethos Sports Centre. Serving a range of hot and cold drinks including barista-style coffee and fresh juice and smoothies, baguettes, sandwiches, Panini’s, salads and lots more, Ethos cafe is ideal spot for a quick bite to eat or drink after a swim or gym session or simply just to relax. The campus also has a picnic area.

Guests can enjoy the use of the leafy Prince's Gardens - a beautiful green space in the heart of central London. Hyde Park is a short walk away and offers vast green space and with its own lake, the Serpentine, as well as an art gallery. World famous London attractions including the Royal Albert Hall, Natural History, Science and V&A museums are also close. Other nearby places of interest include Brompton Oratory, the Royal Albert Hall, Royal College of Arts and Kensington Palace. For shopping, Harrods and Knightsbridge are within easy striking distance.

The nearest station is South Kensington Underground station. It is served by the District, Circle and Piccadilly tube lines. The nearest mainline railway station is Victoria, which is a terminal for passengers travelling by train to Gatwick Airport. Victoria station has a local bus station in the forecourt and is close to Victoria Coach Station for nationwide long-distance coaches. Victoria station also connects with the Underground and serves the following lines: Victoria, District and Circle. Stations in the area are in Travelcard Zone 1. If you fly to Heathrow Airport you can catch the Piccadilly Line straight to Central London. The area is outside the London Congestion Charge Zone for cars.
