Both business and leisure guests will find this hotel convenient and comfortable.
The Quality Hotel Wembley has a warm yet professional atmosphere, from the wide, open-plan lobby to the bedrooms, you will be made to feel welcome. Rooms at the hotel have been found to be 'a little dated' by previous guests, but provide comfortable furnishings, a light and airy ambience and more floor space than a traditional, central London hotel. All rooms come complete with a wide range of amenities, including en-suite bathrooms, a remote control TV with radio, an in-room safe, a trouser press, ironing facilities, a direct-dial telephone, a hair dryer, a hospitality tray with tea and coffee making facilities, free car parking and disabled facilities as needed. A Wi-Fi connection is also available throughout the hotel, but this service comes at an extra charge. The connection is reportedly unreliable, so it is advised to try a local Starbucks for a free Wi-Fi connection instead.
The hotel also comprises of a bar and restaurant, a free continental breakfast is included in the room rate, which is reportedly good. The Empire restaurant also caters for evening meals, a real plus as restaurants are sparsely located around Wembley, where you can enjoy a modern, international menu. The hotel's Sports Bar is a great place for those who are watching a game at the local arena to enjoy some pre or post game camaraderie. SkySports 1, 2, 3 and 4 and ESPN channels are available to watch on a 50" LCD TV and a wide range of drinks are available.
The Quality Hotel does have good transport links; with Wembley Park tube station just a 10 minute walk away. This tube station services the Metropolitan Line, from which you can access King's Cross St Pancras tube station direct for the Eurostar terminus, or Baker Street tube station for links in to central London. The hotel lies outside the Congestion Charge zone and is easily reached via the M1 and A406 roads.
If staying at the Quality Hotel, the main attractions nearby are of course Wembley Stadium, the second largest of its kind in Europe, for large-scale concerts and sports games, such as the FA Cup, Wembley Cup and Champions League. Wembley Arena is also located near to the hotel and focuses more on concerts, with huge acts such as The Beatles and Rolling Stones playing there in the past. This is the second largest indoor arena in the UK and it usually has a very buzzy atmosphere, and most recently the X-Factor final was held here, so you can see up and coming acts too.
The Quality Hotel may not have the charm and character of many central London hotels, but for convenient access to Wembley's exhibition centres it is ideal. Guests have reported a few maintenance issues with in-room and hotel facilities, and on game days the prices in the bar are cheekily increased, but aside from this, The Quality Hotel is a fair and all-inclusive place from which to see some of London's most spectacular shows and events.
