Rose Court Bed and Breakfast

Rose Court Bed and Breakfast offers great two-star accommodation in a five-star location. Situated in the heart of London's West End, within one minute from Marble Arch. Hyde Park & the famous shopping area of Oxford Street, Buckingham Palace, St. James Park & Madame Tussaud's are a pleasant walk away. West End theatres, museums and art galleries are also easy to reach.

The hotel's guest rooms are decorated in a tasteful traditional style, with rich colours and comfortable furnishings. In-room amenities are impressive for a two-star establishment, offering guests a hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, ironing facilities, a colour TV, direct dial phone and complimentary toiletries to ensure you have a comfortable stay. The room price includes a continental breakfast (and a full English at an extra charge), which is served in a bright dining hall.

The hotel staff have been widely praised for their friendly and informative manner and they provide a concierge service for guests, where you can book tickets for shows, reserve tables at local restaurants, arrange airport transfers, book tours or arrange a car service.

For a very reasonable rate, the hotel's location is superb, with many of London's sights just a short walk away. Kensington Palace and Gardens is just a few minutes' walk away, so you can tour the former residence of Princess Diana and Queen Victoria and then take a stroll in the stunning gardens. Neighboring Hyde Park is London's largest green space where you can ride a horse, ride the solar-powered shuttle boat, visit The Serpentine's modern art collection or simply just take a picnic for a lovely afternoon outing. Across the park you can enjoy the exclusive shopping district in Kensington, including Harrods and Harvey Nichols department stores, or you can visit the Royal Albert Hall for some of London's best musical performances. Buckingham Palace, Madame Tussaud's and The Sherlock Holmes Museum are all within walking distance and will keep grown ups and kids entertained and educated. The British Museum, containing 7 million ancient and modern artifacts from around the globe is just a few minutes' walk away and excellent shopping can be found in nearby Mayfair, Oxford Street, Bond Street and Regent Street, with a huge variety of shops from the eye-wateringly expensive designer stores to cheap chic at Primark and Topshop.

The hotel is very well located for transport; with Paddington Station and Underground just a few minutes' walk away. The Heathrow Express Train terminates here, so you can carry on your journey to the hotel with ease if arriving from abroad. Paddington tube station services the Hammersmith & City, Circle, District and Bakerloo lines, so you will have no trouble reaching other parts of London and you also have direct links to Victoria Station (where the Gatwick Express Train terminates) and King's Cross St Pancras Station (where the Eurostar terminates). If you are driving to the hotel, it is situated just off the main A4 road, which can be accessed via the M4 and M25; however, guests should note that the hotel is in the congestion charge zone. To park overnight, your best option is the NCP Car Park at Arthur Court; just a few minutes walk away from the hotel.

The combination of very cheap room rates and a stunning, convenient location is irresistible, hotel decor may not be as grand as other hotels in the area, but this is a fair compromise to make if you want to stick to a tight budget, especially since the staff are so friendly and helpful. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but many fantastic eateries are within walking distance such as Kaya for unique Korean food, Angelus Restaurant for gastropub fare and The Frontline Club for something a little more delectable in the famed war journalist members' club.
