Bayswater Underground station, serving the District and Circle Lines, is 0.2 miles away. Paddington mainline railway station is 0.8 miles away and has frequent, fast trains to Heathrow Airport as well as trains to Wales and the west of England. It also connects with the Underground, serving the Bakerloo, Hammersmith & City, District and Circle lines. For a cheaper journey from Heathrow Airport, you can catch the Airbus to a stop near the hostel.
If you arrive in London on the Eurostar at St Pancras International you can also connect with the Circle Line. Gatwick, London City, Luton and Stansted airports are all within 45 minutes of Central London by train. Stations in the area are in Travelcard Zone 1.
If you come by car, the A40 is a short drive away and leads to the M25 London Orbital motorway. The M4 and M40 motorways are also an easy journey from the hotel. The area is outside the London Congestion Charge Zone. The NCP Queensway Car Park is a two-minute walk away. Buses 12 and 94 stop nearby.

Kensington Gardens connects with Hyde Park where you will find the Serpentine Gallery, lake and horse riding stables. Hyde Park stages many music concerts and will host the 2012 Olympics Triathlon and Open Water Swimming events. Queensway, with cafés, ethnic restaurants, bars and shops, is just around the corner from the hostel. Whiteleys shopping centre, which has a bowling alley, cinema and other entertainment facilities, is 0.3 miles away. In trendy Notting Hill, half a mile to the west, you can visit boutique shops, visit the Coronet Cinema, the Gate Theatre and might even spot celebrities. In Portobello Road, 0.7 miles north west, you can browse historic galleries, arcades and antique shops and go to the famous Portobello Market. If you like museums, The Museum of Brands and the Alexander Fleming Museum are both a mile from the hostel. The Royal Albert Hall is a mile away across Kensington Gardens. There are cafes, restaurants, local shops, pubs and nightlife right on the doorstep of the hostel and you can take a bus or tube to London’s West End for theatres, clubs and sightseeing.
