the LH comment:
This hotel is not for visitors requiring a degree of luxury, it is basic, noisy and busy and probably more suited to the younger traveller. However, given the superb location it does represent excellent value for money.
Our take is that if you simply want a bed in the West End at a cheap rate and you are not too fussed about having hundreds of guests walking around at all hours of the day and night, then maybe the Royal National Hotel is a good choice. Do not book this hotel for special occaisions. You should also look at the nearby St Giles Hotel as an alternative.
