Located in the heart of trendy Chelsea, the Saatchi Gallery reopened to the public in 2008 and has been a popular site ever since.
About the Gallery
Formerly the military barracks of the Duke of York's Headquarters, the Saatchi Gallery expands across 70,000 square feet.
It is now a dedicated site that pays homage to a wealth of emerging artists from the United Kingdom that rotates on a constant basis.
As well as temporary displays, one of the introductory showcases was dedicated to the top 30 artists to come out of China.
Stretched over three floors, this is the brainchild of advertising guru Charles Saatchi who was famous for the Brit pack of artists during the 1990’s such as Tracey Emin, Gavin Turk and Sarah Lucas.
This tradition has continued to be a roaring success as more and more unknown artists have the chance to display their work to a worldwide audience.
Recent exhibits have featured pictures from Russia presenting art between the 1960s and 1980s not to mention Richard Wilson. He is celebrated as one of the UK’s most renowned sculptors, especially for his work on architectural space
