Ten minutes away is Kensington Olympia station, which serves the London Overground railway network as well as being on the District Line of the Underground. Other tube stations close by include Ravenscourt Park, on the District Line, and Goldhawk Road, on the Hammersmith & City line. Stations in the area are in Travelcard Zone 2. If you fly in to Heathrow Airport, it is very easy to get to the Star Hotel with a direct tube train on the Piccadilly Line. It is also easy to travel into the heart of central London on public transport, with a 15-25 minute tube journey, to visit many of London’s main sightseeing attractions.
If you are travelling by car, the area is outside the London Congestion Charge Zone. There are some public car parking spaces available in the side roads near the hotel, for which a charged parking permit is required during weekday daytimes. Weekend and evening parking is free.
