If you are looking to escape the capital and fly off to more exotic climbs then the London Stansted Airport is within easy access and normally can be reached in 10 minute as well. Bishop's Stortford itself is less than 30 miles from the centre of London and 35 miles from the nearest rail station in London which is Liverpool Street station where you will be able to connect to a number of different destinations.
