If you choose to stay at The Thistle Hyde Park, it seems to be universally recommended to request a view over Hyde Park so you are greeted by one of London's prettiest views every morning. Rooms above the second floor tend to get less traffic noise as well, so if you are a light sleeper, request a higher floor at check in.
