Kingston-upon-Thames, named after it's regal legacy, has been the home of kings and courtiers since the Tudor period, and with its mix of wide open green spaces and elegant market squares, you can still see remnants of the town's history, which has been further enhanced by the addition of huge shopping complexes and unique boutiques and cafes housed in wattle and daub style buildings. Kingston was a favourite of the royal family for its riverside location, which provided easy access to parliament and church at Westminster Abbey and Palace, but also offered enough of a country atmosphere for hunting, and aside from the hunting, the lure of riverside pubs and large parks still attract people today. If you want to experience living like an English nobleman of yore, then award winning country mansion, Warren House, is the perfect place to stay.
Warren House is a stunning 19th century Victorian mansion set amidst four acres of beautiful landscaped gardens. Located on the Coombe Estate, just five miles from central London, inside the M25 and within easy reach of Heathrow and Gatwick airports, Warren House provides the perfect setting for conferences, meetings, training days, special events and exclusive use for weddings. The staff have been highly praised by guests for their attentive, personalised service and whether it is organising wedding flowers, ensuring you are satisfied with your room or getting a conga line started, nothing is too much trouble.

Richmond also has a great selection of pubs and bistros and you can hire a boat to sail along the river. The well-heeled area is also home to an art house cinema, artisan food stores and some exquisite designer and independent boutiques. The town of Kingston-upon-Thames is near the hotel as well, where you will find the huge Bentalls Centre shopping complex and The Rose Theatre, which pays homage to the Shakespearean theatre once located in London Bridge. Hampton Court Palace, home to Henry VIII is just a short drive or train ride away from Kingston-upon-Thames, where you can tour the ornate chapels and banqueting halls and go ghost hunting in spooky evening tours.
Warren House's breakfast is not included in the room rates. If you request breakfast at the time of booking, a supplement per person will be charged. The Orchid Room restaurant is open from 9:30am until 9.30pm for informal dining. A waiter and bar service is also available in the Lounge throughout the day.
Whilst this hotel is great for a special event, business conference or a romantic break, it is won't suit those who want to enjoy the sights and attractions of central London as the hotel is remote from Kingston-upon-Thames Station and London is a 40 minute train ride away. However, if you want to relax in genteel, historic surroundings, experience the village-y feel of London's suburbs and be pampered throughout your stay, Warren House is an excellent choice and definitely worth splashing out on.
