Considered to be one of the most popular shopping haunts in the capital, Westfield Shepherds Bush is a mecca for retail therapy.

Visitors can have the chance to explore nearby sights which include the market that goes by the same name. Shepherds Bush Market has been a permanent fixture on the W12 map for many years and offers you a wide range of eclectic stores to take advantage of. This includes everything from jewellery, CDs and DVDs to vintage clothing and much more.

In addition to this, you will be able to explore the neighbouring district of Notting Hill. This is an eclectic yet chic area which was the scene of the famous film starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. It offers a number of shops, bars and trendy restaurants to choose from.

There are incredibly trendy stores as well as individual boutique shops which visitors can be inspired by. Watch out for Melt chocolates which is an award winning store based in this area. The choice is simply mind boggling and provides a wealth of exciting flavours!

Meanwhile Ladbroke Grove is another diverse area to venture into where you will find Portabello Market, another renowned place to grab a bargain on anything from clothing to antiques and much more.

The striking Westfield shopping centre has been bestowed with the honour of being Europe’s largest indoor shopping complex.

At more than a staggering 150,000 square metres of space, Westfield opened its doors in 2008. Measuring the equivalent of 30 football pitches side by side, it boasts more than a whopping 260 individual stores as well as 50 restaurants not to mention a large cinema with 14 screens, and a number of 3D viewing capabilities with space for around 3,000 people.

Head to The Village where you can find an impressive 40 different labels to choose from which encompasses several major leading designers. These include DKNY, Tiffany and Mulberry, Burberry, De Beers not to mention Christian Dior, Gucci, Miu Miu, Tiffany & Co and even Versace.

Other highlights that you will see inside include Apple, Bershka, Boots, Bose, Dwell, Early Learning Centre, Gerry Weber, Hollister Co., House of Fraser, Kurt Geiger, LEGO not to mention Mamas & Papas, Mango a massive Marks & Spencer, Waitrose and Oakley.

If you want to grab a new wardrobe for yourself then head to Wood Lane, White City or Shepherd's Bush which are the nearest tube stations.

All lie in Zone 1 of the underground system. Both White City and Shepherds Bush are served by the Central lines while Wood Lane is served by the Hammersmith and City and Circle lines. They can all be easily reached thanks to a 10 minute journey on foot.

The closest rail station is the Shepherds Bush which is on the London Overground service.

Opening hours at Westfield Shepherds Bush are from Monday to Wednesday between 10am and 9pm, Thursdays and Fridays between 10am and 10pm, Saturdays from 9am until 9pm and on Sundays between 12pm and 6pm.
