Farringdon is within close proximity to the site which includes a number of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. The East of London is considered to be one of the trendiest areas to choose from. An interesting place of interest nearby which is well worth a visit is the Barbican Centre. This is the home to a wide variety of performances, dance events and concerts which take place throughout the entire year. Visitors can also reach places such as Covent Garden and Leicester Square.

This is home to Theatre Land which is among the most popular areas to explore. It features an extensive selection of the best theatres and show houses from the Lyceum Theatre to the world famous London Palladium. Being so close to the riverside, you will have the opportunity to benefit from several riverboat trips which take place up and down the Thames from the Victoria Embankment. Another major landmark nearby is St. Pauls Cathedral with its English Baroque influences. This was designed by renowned architect Sir Christopher Wren in the 18th Century.

At the White Swan Pub and Dining Room, there is an impressive line-up of real ales. The quirky dining room upstairs currently offers a wealth of elegant modern European dishes. This includes fillet of wild black bream with lobster tortellini, monk’s beard and lobster bisque, roast loin of Scottish red venison with grilled liver and a truffled cavolo nero.

Other highlights feature crispy pork and crackling salad, salt mash lamb rump with caponata and anchovy butter, Roast Yorkshire quail served with grilled gem heart, cippolini onions, broad beans and mousseron mushrooms or Steamed courgette flower, white asparagus and chervil gnocchi as well as Braised Cumbrian veal breast, bone marrow croquette, fennel purée, roast beetroot, peas and girolles served with delicate braising juices.

If you are more of a pudding fan why not spoil yourself with a Chocolate and hazelnut delice with praline ice cream, White peach parfait, raspberries and Marsala or Buttermilk pannacotta, Kentish strawberries and a wood strawberry sorbet. 

If you are tempted by the delights at the White Swan then you will need to arrive at Chancery Lane Tube Station. This lies in Zone 1 of the Underground system. It is served by the Central Line and is just a 10 minute journey on foot to the venue. The nearest rail station is City Thameslink. Opening Hours are from Monday to Friday between 11am and midnight.
