It once stood in front of Buckingham Palace and now marks the start of Oxford Street, which is famous for shopping.
Imperial College London, St Mary’s Campus, is 0.3 miles north of the hotel, next to St Mary’s Hospital and the Alexander Fleming Museum. A little further on is the Paddington Basin canal-side office development and you can follow the canal towpath to Little Venice for cafes, art galleries and entertainment on and beside the water. The London Business School is just under a mile to the north of the hotel, on the edge of Regents Park.
