York & Albany is the first hotel to be opened by famous British chef Gordon Ramsay. This colourful television personality and restaurateur has been awarded 13 Michelin stars in total and currently holds 12. He known for presenting TV programmes about competitive cookery and food, such as the British series Hell's Kitchen, The F Word, Ramsay's Best Restaurant and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.

As you might expect, the York & Albany hotel is a townhouse with food at its heart. The York & Albany dining room and bar offers a relaxed yet elegant Mediterranean menu that has been devised by head chef Colin Buchan.

Offering superb levels of comfort and service, York & Albany is a townhouse that is designed to be a home from home. Situated between Regent's Park and Camden, York & Albany has ten individually designed bedrooms and suites. All the guest rooms are furnished with period antiques as well as having all the mod cons and cutting-edge amenities discerning guests desire. They also offer wonderful views of Regent’s Park and have superb levels of service.

Room types available at York & Albany include two styles of classic room as well as superior rooms, deluxe rooms and suites. The classic rooms are decorated with character, including antique furniture, delightfully comfortable beds and soft 400 count Egyptian cotton bed linen. There are three superior rooms, decorated in rich colours. Opulent features enrich the unique bedroom interiors, providing guests with a luxurious and enchanting room that is a true haven for a memorable stay.

The spacious deluxe rooms provide guests with a large 242sq ft of space. Two of the rooms contain a super king bed and the sumptuous third deluxe room has an enormous four poster bed. The suites have individual personality with bespoke designs by the acclaimed designer Russell Sage that offer guests a luxury experience. They are prestigious and beautiful.

The hotel is happy to take reservations for holiday of all lengths, but offers special rates for weekend breaks at Gordon Ramsay's townhouse.

If the rooms are luxurious, the food is even more superlative. The breakfasts at the York & Albany are perfect and can really set you up for the day ahead. Relaxed all day dining is available at the hotel, with a superb menu devised by head chef Colin Buchan. This offers complete flexibility with one menu running through the dining room, bar and private dining rooms. There are also children’s menus and special offers each day.

Sunday roasts remain one of the nation’s favourite dishes. Whether it be enjoyed among family or friends, the selection of roasts guarantees diners are left completely satisfied by the hotel’s sumptuous Sunday feast.

Perfectly located, York & Albany is on the edge of Regent’s Park, one of London’s most beautiful Royal parks. It contains London Zoo, the Open Air Theatre, a boating lake, sports pitches and gardens as well as green spaces. The Grand Union Canal runs around the northern edge of Regent’s Park and walk along the canal's towpath escapes the tourist trail and takes in many famous districts, including Little Venice, Camden Town and Islington. Camden has plenty of wonderful nightlife and entertainment and is the home of the Roundhouse performance venue. Within striking distance of the hotel are Madame Tussauds, Primrose Hill and Marylebone High Street. Covent Garden and the West End are within a 20-minute journey.

The nearest tube station is Mornington Crescent, which is on the Northern Line. Kings Cross and St Pancras stations are just a little further on. They are mainline railway stations as well as being on the Jubilee, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, District and Circle Lines of the Underground. These stations are in Travelcard Zone 1. The hotel is outside the London Congestion Charge Zone for cars.
